Fourkan Hamid completed his B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science and Engineering from Mawlana Bhasani Science and Technology University in 2013. Soon after, he began his academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of ICT at F.M. International School & College (Mirpur-1) and later joined International Nursing College (Gazipur), where he has been serving since May 2014. In parallel, he holds the position of Assistant Programmer at International Medicare Limited, contributing to the development and maintenance of healthcare IT systems.
With over a decade of experience in the ICT field, he has played a significant role in software development and digital transformation projects. Since 2015, he has been working as Head of Software Development at Dhaka Solution (Uttara), overseeing a range of enterprise-level and healthcare-related applications. In 2025, he founded Waterfall Software Solution, a dedicated IT firm aimed at delivering innovative software solutions tailored to local and international markets.
His dual expertise in healthcare informatics and software engineering positions him uniquely to contribute to the field of Nursing Informatics. His work reflects a commitment to bridging the gap between technology and patient care through education, system development, and digital empowerment in nursing education.
